There are three causes for hair loss:

Hair Transplantation
Hair transplantation is the process of relocating hair from one area to another. Hair density remains same, only hair redistribution takes place.
Follicular Unit Transplantation
In this procedure, a thin strip is removed from donor area and after that this area is sewn closed. For inserting these grafts, balding site are made with thin instruments. After making these sites carefully, grafts are inserted. This is a hair restoration procedure. Hairs are transplanted in group of 1-4 hair.
Follicular Unit Extraction
In Follicular Unit Extraction procedure, a large strip is removed from donor sites. A Small circular incision is made around each unit and then removed one by one. It extends the size of donor area. But this is more expensive and takes more time than Follicular Unit Hair Transplants.
