IAHRS set the rules for this field and made physicians and surgeons responsible for their actions. There are limited members of IAHRS and the surgeons related to IAHRS are only surgeons endorsed by The American Hair Loss Association. IAHRS is like the patient’s advocate.

Rights of Patients:
IAHRS endorses a bill of rights for the patients. It defines various rights of patients. All surgeons who are a member of IAHRS must keep in mind these rights. It is the duty of surgeon to have an honest and open communication with their patients. They must be sensitive towards cultural, racial, linguistic, religious, age, and other factors of the patient.
